Burn It Out has a gang of warmers: Yarrow, Ginger and Cayenne, that help get things moving and discourage germs from setting in. Yarrow is a great contender for helping defend against colds and the flu. Skullcap encourages rest which pairs well with California Poppy that is a mild pain easer.

 

Ingredients  

Yarrow, California Poppy, Ginger, Skullcap and Cayenne 

 

Directions 

Steep up to 8g in a tea bag in 8oz of hot water for at least 10 minutes. Enjoy tea up to 3x per day.

 

Historically Uses* 

California Poppy - mild pain easer 

Cayenne - strong moving and heating 

Ginger - antimicrobial 

Yarrow - aides fever to break fever 

Skullcap - quiet minds 

 

Contraindications 

GI inflammation, pregnancy, bradycardia, coagulation disorders, nephritis and anticoagulant medication. 

 

Precautions 

Avoid if you use sedative medications as can anesthetize lips, fingers, toes, may interfere with activities such as driving or operating heavy machinery, especially at higher doses. Do not use with central nervous system depressants. Overdose can result in headache and general body fatigue the day following use. Can increase photosensitivity. Excess can agitate peptic ulcers.
